Maria Knott | Paraprofessional | Explore Therapist

Mrs. Knott is a Paraprofessional and Math Therapist for the Explore program at CCA.  She was born in Jacksonville, Florida and her family lived in several places which included Texas, California and TN, since her father was in the Navy. She received her BA in Music with an emphasis in Business Administration in 1994 from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN. She was employed by Security Bank & Trust Company until moving to Wichita, KS in 1997 where she worked for Wells Fargo Financial a few years. She married her husband Robert (also from TN) in 2001 who works for Spirit Aerosystems. She began working for Anderson Management Company until 2003 and then dedicated the next 7 years to staying at home and raising her two sons, who also attend CCA. In 2010 she ran a home daycare till August 2012 and then began working for CCA. Mrs. Knott enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, researching the internet for educational ideas, and spending time with her family.  She attends Northside Church of Christ where she is a Know Your Bible operator. Maria is blessed to have the privilege of helping children in the classroom and in a one on one environment where she can help them reach their potential and share the love of Christ. Her favorite verse is Philippians 4:13,”I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”, because she believes God enables us to do His work with the gifts He has given to us individually.
