CCA Daily Update 03/19/20
Dear CCA Families,
The leadership team met today to finalize plans for the transition to continuous learning, and we are amazed how the Lord has provided. We will be meeting with teachers in small groups on Monday and Tuesday, then providing additional information to each of you. Classes will officially begin March 30 and run through May 15.
We are planning for parents to come to the building next Thursday and Friday to pick-up student materials. To limit contact and comply with civil authority, no children may enter the building. We are also evaluating the need for a parent sign-up to reduce the number of people in the building at one time. If this is deemed necessary, we will send a sign-up out no later than Monday. Please notify Mr. Swank (K-6) or Mr. Waddell (7-10) if you do not have an adult who can pick up supplies between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm on those days.
At pick-up, the books and supplies your child will need for instruction will be compiled and labeled with your child’s name. These will be in the child’s classroom or a centralized area if they do not have a homeroom. Faculty and staff will not empty lockers; however, lockers will be unlocked so you can gather your child’s belongings (including the locker rooms). Please bring something to carry home locker items. We will provide grocery bags for the book and supply pick up.
Thank you for your prayers and support. God has been faithful to the leadership team this week, and we are looking forward to partnering with you in a new way. Please let us know if you have specific needs that we can help address. We are in the office and available by phone or email. As you navigate the challenges our community is facing, we are lifting you up in prayer.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“therefore, I will hope in him.” -Lamentations 3:22-24
Praying for you,
